A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Quote of the Day:
"All Warfares are based upon Deceptions. Thus All Deceptions lead to Conflict.
All Warfares are thus based upon Deceptions, where Deceptions in prelude prepare for and lead to WARFARE."
~ Sun Tzu ~

It's been a week since this blog has been updated. There is a lot to catch up with on the web and surfing the blogs seemed like a good way to find out what has been happening in the past few days.

A particularly interesting piece of information can be found at Perfect Infidel. The writer was on a business trip which concluded in dinner and conversation. This is the report:

The dinner itself was "normal" in every respect, and MOST of the conversation was also "normal." It only got strange when politics - including the subject of George Bush and 9-11 - was brought up.

Our friends who circulate socially among various government officials brought out some photos to show of a recent private party. Among the attendees of said party - which I reiterate, was private and not an "official function," was the brother of Vladimir Putin! There was the usual grouping of various ministers, AND one of the most powerful men in the Financial World (and here I don't mean America, I mean the GLOBAL Financial world!)

What was interesting about these photos was the obvious camaraderie of these individuals depicted in the photographs. There was Vlad's brother whooping it up with what were obviously close pals in France.

Hmmmm...

So, of course I asked about this. What came next was, in a sense, quite shocking. It seems that it is common knowledge in these circles that Russian satellites photographed a ship-launched craft (seems to have been a drone type plane rather than a missle) that ended up impacting the Pentagon on Sept 11, 2001, and that, for various reasons this information has been withheld from the public.

I was naturally startled to hear this even though I have long held the opinion that it was NOT a commercial jetliner that hit the Pentagon. I think the thing that startled me was the fact that, if Russia (and perhaps other countries with satellites?) had proof that Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon, why weren't they revealing this?

It was explained to me that during part of the time George Bush was "incommunicado" on September 11, 2001, he was on the phone to Putin "negotiating." That was a polite way of saying "blackmailing." Apparently, Bush, by way of MOSSAD and/or the CIA had enough goods on Vlad to keep him silent.

Now THAT explains why Putin has not responded publicly to the rather obnoxious criticisms of Russia made by Bush and Condi Rice.

In any event, it was explained to me further that these satellite photos HAD been revealed to Thierry Meyssan who was asked by either French or Russian intell to write his book "Pentagate" to "leak" the info that Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon. His instructions were, apparently, that he had to "make the case" without recourse to official backing; he couldn't refer to the satellite photos.

Well, suddenly, a LOT of things began to make sense.

Take a look at Pentagon Strike. As they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words."

Infallible = Inflexible ?

Quote of the Day:
"I'm not a bad guy! I work hard, and I love my kids. So why should I spend half my Sunday hearing about how I'm going to Hell?"
~ Homer Simpson ~

There's a new pope in the Vatican. The College of Cardinals have elected Joseph Ratzinger as the new pontiff. When I saw this news on TV there was a huge dark cloud hovering over St. Peter's Basilica. There also seem to be a few dark clouds in the new pope's past.

On April 16, 1999 the National Catholic Reporter ran a story entitled 'The Vatican's Enforcer' which detailed Ratzinger's Inquesition of liberal theologians in the Catholic Church. At that time they said, "At the most basic level, many Catholics cannot escape the sense that Ratzinger’s exercise of ecclesial power is not what Jesus had in mind."

The UK Guardian ran a story with PDF documentation in August of 2003 which stated:

The Vatican instructed Catholic bishops around the world to cover up cases of sexual abuse or risk being thrown out of the Church.

The Observer has obtained a 40-year-old confidential document from the secret Vatican archive which lawyers are calling a 'blueprint for deception and concealment'. One British lawyer acting for Church child abuse victims has described it as 'explosive'.

The 69-page Latin document bearing the seal of Pope John XXIII was sent to every bishop in the world. The instructions outline a policy of 'strictest' secrecy in dealing with allegations of sexual abuse and threatens those who speak out with excommunication.

They also call for the victim to take an oath of secrecy at the time of making a complaint to Church officials. It states that the instructions are to 'be diligently stored in the secret archives of the Curia [Vatican] as strictly confidential. Nor is it to be published nor added to with any commentaries.'

Lawyers point to a letter the Vatican sent to bishops in May 2001 clearly stating the 1962 instruction was in force until then. The letter is signed by Cardinal Ratzinger, the most powerful man in Rome beside the Pope and who heads the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith - the office which ran the Inquisition in the Middle Ages.

Last but not least, another story from The National Catholic Reporter. This time Ratzinger says that only Catholics can receive "salvation."

"Aiming to stop a new movement in Catholic theology in its tracks, the Vatican issued a major document this week emphatically denying that other world religions can offer salvation independent of Christianity and insisting that making converts to Catholicism remains an “urgent duty.”

The push within Catholicism to accept other religions as vehicles for divine revelation and saving power is often called the “theology of religious pluralism,” and is most closely linked to theologians and bishops in Asia. One consequence of this view is that dialogue with members of other religions, rather than attempts to convert them, becomes the focus of interreligious exchange.

The new document, titled Dominus Iesus, or “The Lord Jesus,” and presented by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger in a Sept. 5 news conference, firmly rejects this stance."

The 'My gods better than your god" song is becoming so popular some people just can't get it out of their head. Ratzinger has added a new chorus to his version. "The Inquisition is alive and well. If you don't become a catholic you can all go to hell."

I wonder what the 'man' in the White house and his fanatical Fundie followers have to say about that? Maybe he'll dial up the Jesus on the hotline.

A Fly on the Wall

Quote of the Day:
"Kudzu and lies have a lot in common. Once planted they overrun and destroy their surroundings."
~ V. F. ~

Any Southerner who has a garden knows about kudzu. Originally brought to the US from Japan as part of an exhibit for an oriental garden, it quickly invaded the landscape, overrunning and killing thousands of acres of native trees and plants. A lie is similar to kudzu in that it can take over and drive any attempt at uncovering the Truth of 9-11 into darkness.

The Financial Times report:
JERUSALEM, APRIL 11: Israeli defence officials asked Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to raise a military option against Iran's nuclear programme with US President George Bush in talks in Texas on Monday, Israel's Army Radio said.

The radio said US defense officials had so far refused Israeli entreaties to discuss attacking Iranian nuclear facilities as a last resort should diplomatic pressure fail.

Israeli and US officials were not immediately available for comment. Sharon planned to raise Iran's atomic development drive with Bush but it was unclear whether he would suggest a possible military strike. The talks were to be devoted mainly to Israel's planned Gaza pullout and other peace issues with Palestinians.

The Jewish state has made clear it considers all options legitimate for preventing its arch-enemy getting the bomb. But analysts agree that Israel would be unlikely to resort to force unless authorised by its chief ally the United States.

Iran, which denies seeking a nuclear bomb, is in talks with the European Union on curbing its uranium enrichment, a process that could be used to produce nuclear weapons.

Army Radio said Israel, believed to be the Middle East's only nuclear power, wants to prepare a military alternative. "We are not managing to get the Americans to talk about what will happen if the diplomatic efforts fail and Iran resumes enriching uranium, putting it on track to an atomic bomb," it quoted a senior defense official as saying he told Sharon.

Bush has said he backs the EU-led efforts to get Iran to come clean on its nuclear programme but that the US has not ruled out the possibility of military strikes.

Israel sent jets to destroy the Iraqi reactor at Osiraq in 1981, driving Saddam Hussein's quest for the bomb underground.

Two heads of state recently met in Texas. Most meetings between individuals begin with pleasant small talk. It's possible their conversation included some of the following:

"I brought you some pictures drawn by a student. He wanted you to have a rememberence of the great work being formulated here today." (A. hands pictures to B.)

"Very nice. Lovely garden. Hey, this looks just like that Wall. And this one? It looks like a bulldozer and..."

"It's one of the new caterpillar tractors destroying houses in Gaza."

"Wow. What an artist. And this is..."

"Oh, this is a commemoration of our nuclear plant. The blessings it has provided have been too numerous to count."

"Oh yeah, like about 200 of them. Thanks a lot. It's a nice gift. Tell him I said, thanks." (Places pictures on the table.)

"Now listen, B, about the Iranian problem. We can't go any further without discussing how to gather sympathy for an attack. I think we could use some of the photos from our raid on Iraq in 1981 as evidence. The prints are a little grainy but..."

"No, no, wait a minute, I have an idea" (B. picks up student's drawing of nuke plant.) Why not use this one? I'll send it over to D. He'll know what to do with it."

"I don't know. Someone might recognize the site as ours."

"Naw. It'll never happen. Besides. it worked at the UN didn't it? And the people in this country will believe anything I say."

"Yes. Your right about that. No one pays any attention to details. If they ask any questions we can just say they are paranoid and anti-Semitic. Good idea."

"Just don't let your guys get caught doing the happy dance again, A."

"They were merely celebrating and only a few were actually seen. Kids need to have a little fun."

"Okay then, don't worry about a thing. Good 'ol D. can take care of anything. Hey, ain't this chicken salad great?"

A commercial produced by an organization fighting for the freedom of Iran that depicts a nuclear terror attack in America – the kind many experts believe is possible should Tehran get the bomb – will run in 20 markets across the country this month.

Titled "An Atomic 9-11: When Evil is Appeased," the spot, sponsored by the Iran Freedom Foundation, is based on a scenario described in the new WND Books release "Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime Bought the Bomb and American Politicians," by Jerome R. Corsi, co-author of the best-selling "Unfit for Command."

Nostradamus and Terri Schiavo

Quote of the Day:
"Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give the appearance of solidity to pure wind."
~ George Orwell ~

You never know where a search on the internet will lead. A blog by Steel Magnolia mentions the death of Terry Schiavo was predicted Nostradamus.

You have probably heard of Nostradamus. He is the 15th century soothsayer who wrote a number of prophecies concerning future events. Some say he predicted the rise of Napoleon, Hitler and GW Bush as the three antichrists in world history. The World Trade Center and 9/11 are also references in the famous quatrains.

Steel Magnolia wrote:

Through feigned fury of divine emotion
The wife of the strong one will be violated:
The judges wishing to condemn such a doctrine,
She is sacrificed a victim to the ignorant people.

I learned awhile ago that Terri Schiavo has died. God rest her soul. ......

This case had nothing to do with “right to life” or “anti-abortion” issues. Hell, I’m a believer in a woman’s right to have an abortion if she wants one. I don’t like the idea very much, but it’s often the lesser of many evils, including having a child a person doesn’t want in an already overcrowded world.

Terri Schiavo was a victim, sacrificed to the ignorant people.

The reference certainly does seem to fit. Terri's 'husband' did pretend to be upset. His sham emotions were plastered all over the news. So was the fact that only after he had won a million dollar settlement, meant to provide Terri with the best rehabilitative care possible, did he order a feeding tube to be placed and all therapy stopped.

He treated Terri like a thing, an object, after receiving that money.

Nice guy, huh?

I agree with Steel Magnolia, Terry Schiavo was sacrificed by psychopaths to feed the emotions of ignorant people.

Human sacrifice is alive and well on the Planet Earth.

Who Will Mourn the Children?

Quote of the Day:
"To rationalize their lies, people -- and the governments, churches, or terrorist cells they compose -- are apt to regard their private interests and desires as just."
~ Wendy Kaminer ~

Millions of people mourned the death of Pope John Paul II this week. Kings, presidents and other dignitaries packed St. Peter's Square along with ordinary people from around the world. In the past week, there has been enough written concerning this Pope, his death and the funeral. That is all that will be said here concerning this event.

Reading of the outpouring of grief has reminded me of how severely skewed this world has always been. The death of one man elicits the tears of millions while the death of an innocent child is virtually neglected.

Do you remember reading any of these articles?

"And I walked out towards the dunes and they were--the--over the loudspeaker from an Israeli army Jeep on the other side of the electric fence they were taunting these kids. And these kids started to throw rocks. And most of these kids were 10, 11, 12 years old. And, first of all, the rocks were the size of a fist. They were being hurled towards a Jeep that was armor-plated. I doubt they could even hit the Jeep. And then I watched the soldiers open fire. And it was--I mean, I've seen kids shot in Sarajevo. I mean, snipers would shoot kids in Sarajevo. I've seen death squads kill families in Algeria or El Salvador. But I'd never seen soldiers bait or taunt kids like this and then shoot them for sport. It was--I just--even now, I find it almost inconceivable. And I went back every day, and every day it was the same."
Interview with New York Times reporter Chris Hedges - NPR - Fresh Air - October 30, 2001

"An Israeli soldier shot dead a four-year-old Palestinian boy and injured two other children today, when he fired a tank-mounted machine gun at a northern West Bank roadblock." (The IDF said it was a mistake)

GAZA CITY, August 31 "A nine-year-old Palestinian girl was shot dead and five children wounded by Israeli troops in Khan Yunis refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip late Saturday, August 30."

GAZA CITY, March 4 "Soldiers blew up four Palestinian houses after telling residents to leave, but the 33-year-old pregnant woman who did not leaver her house was crushed to death. Among those shot dead was a 13-year-old boy. The six others killed were aged between 17 and 24."

PMWATCH -- February 1, 2005 -- " The killing of 10 year old Nuran Deeb, shot yesterday in the playground of a United Nations-run school in southern Gaza, is being treated by the US mainstream media as a mystery and at best an "unfortunate tragedy". Nothing is being written about the long list of Palestinian children killed, often shot in the head, by the Israeli Occupation Forces. All that Israeli officials have to do is to declare that they did not do any shooting, and the news moves on."

A Cri de Coeur
Imagining Palestine
By KATHLEEN CHRISTISON, CounterPunch, Dec 22 2004
A Palestinian child died in my arms today. It was a young boy; it was a girl. It was an infant; it was a 13-year-old. She had been shot 20 times by an Israeli soldier firing U.S.-made bullets; he had been dismembered by a missile fired from a U.S.-manufactured Israeli helicopter gunship. I am a Palestinian, and these were my children.

I am a Palestinian. I say I am a Palestinian to express my solidarity and that of many silent Americans with a suffering people under Israeli domination. But I must bow my head in shame, for it is my government that pays for Israel's oppression of the Palestinians, my government that is committing ethnocide against the Palestinians, my government that is killing Palestinian children. I am a Palestinian, and I reject my American government.

I comforted a woman today whose house was demolished by Israeli bulldozers, monsters of destruction made in America. I helped her pick through the rubble of her home to retrieve her children's clothing and toys. I comforted her children, who will have no toys and no place to sleep tonight. I listened, thunderstruck, as her husband wailed aloud, standing in front of the pile of broken concrete that was his home. I will not be able to persuade his children that he has not failed them, not failed to provide the protection that any father must give his children. I imagined my own home in ruins, my own children bereft, and I wept. I am a Palestinian, and this woman, this man, these children are my countrymen.

I stood with a Palestinian farmer today whose agricultural land has been destroyed by Israelis. He is a middle-aged man whose olive orchard, his only means of livelihood, was burned and cut down by U.S.-subsidized Israeli settler thugs. The farmer is a young man whose greenhouses and prime agricultural land, left to him by his father and his grandfather, were leveled by Israeli soldiers driving U.S.-manufactured Caterpillar bulldozers, clearing land for a concrete separation wall meant to grab prime land for Israel. The farmer is an old man who watches daily as Israelis build new homes in settlements on land that belonged to him until it was stolen. I am a Palestinian, and these farmers once fed my now-impoverished people.

I stood in the hot sun at the notorious Huwara checkpoint south of Nablus with hundreds of Palestinians waiting for permission to go to work, to school, to medical appointments. I stood in the driving rain at the Qalandiya checkpoint between Jerusalem and Ramallah, waiting with hundreds of others who must pass here every day, waiting for hours to get to work and then hours more to return home. There is no sun more searing, no rain more cold and driving than in Palestine, yet we all stood like automatons, fearful of arousing the anger of the power-mad teenage Israeli soldiers who control our lives and our freedom, fearful that they would shoot us if we showed any evidence of emotion. In the middle of the night last night, I consoled a woman who gave birth on the ground at a checkpoint because an Israeli soldier in his teenage wisdom regarded her as a security risk, and later I rode in the ambulance as she bled and her baby turned blue and perished. I am a Palestinian, and I stoically endure the peculiar humiliation of these checkpoints with my countrymen.

I gave solace to a Palestinian political prisoner today and to his wife. I am a Palestinian, and this man is serving time for fighting for my freedom.

I picked a fig from a tree in my front yard today and ate it. It was the most delicious sweetness I had ever experienced. I believe this because I am a Palestinian, and the fig tree grows in Palestine.

Ordinary words fail. The horrific fate of Palestine cries out for the power of poetry. This is no powerful poem, or any poem at all, but it is a cry from the heart.

I care about murdered Israeli children too, but there are far fewer of them, and my government already embraces them. I embrace Palestinian children because so few others do, because my government cares nothing about them, because my government kills them.

I am a Palestinian. I live the daily lives of Palestinians. I cradled a dying Palestinian child in my arms today.

Who, among the millions, will remember and mourn the children? Who, among the millions will take action?

The Winter of Our Discontent

Quote of the Day:
"Man, unlike any other thing organic or inorganic in the universe, grows beyond his work, walks up in the stairs of his concepts, emerges ahead of his accomplishments."
~ John Steinbeck ~

Gardens are instructive. I think they provide a miniature view into the of the inner workings of Creation. The Universe appears to be composed of two complimentary aspects which are constantly providing alternating points of view. Expansion and contraction, flexion and extension, creation and entropy all compromise the fundamental properties of the god / universe.

It may seem rather strange that such a spectacle is not readily and easily understood.

I have been thinking about creation, god and the universe. It appears that there is a lot to learn. What I have finally understood, however, is that these two aspects of god or the universe are constantly being flung in our collective faces. Maybe these ideas are difficult to grasp because they are so close, so normal and such an intricate part of everyday life. Sometimes the obvious eludes us. We can't see past the barriers we have constructed and accepted as the 'truth.'

The shift has been provoked by new learning of old concepts. Remembering and understanding are two different projects. In the first all you do is regurgitate the facts, theories or ideas. In the second, you begin to apply what has been learned after the initial learning and integrate the whole idea together. Sometimes, you can even See it in action.

There is a situation presently in progress which points to the expansion and contraction of ideas. The libraries in Salinas California may close for lack of funding. If learning and knowledge qualify as expansion closing a library looks like an act of contractility to me.

SALINAS – Trying to avert a literary dark age in John Steinbeck's hometown, dozens of authors, activists and celebrities will read for 24 hours straight in front of one of the city's public libraries set to close because of a budget shortfall.

Although the read-in isn't a fund-raiser, it's expected to help increase contributions to an effort that would keep the libraries open on a part-time basis through December. That drive is now less than $100,000 shy of its $500,000 goal. Library supporters also are working on a tax measure that would keep the libraries open beyond this year.

If its libraries close, Salinas, with a population of more than 150,000, would become the most populous U.S. city without a public library.

City officials said they had no other choice but to close the libraries because of a drop in sales tax revenue and the transfer of local property tax money to the state. In fiscal 2004-2005, $4.5 million will go to Sacramento, and the library budget is about $3 million.

"One could conclude if we weren't transferring money to the state, we'd have our libraries open," City Manager Dave Mora said.

In November, voters rejected a half-cent increase in the sales tax to preserve city services."

I wonder what the 'Terminator' thinks about this. Maybe reading and learning are for 'girly girls?' In a choice between city services and libraries, basic needs always win.

It appears we are about to enter the Winter of Our Discontent.

The Unspoken Truth

Quote of the Day:
"We lie loudest when we lie to ourselves."
~ Eric Hoffer ~

What would you think if you were told that there were individuals on the Earth who had no empathy, no conscience, could not feel emotions and no problem lying to advance their personal agenda? What if you were to learn that these individuals could so completely mimic the emotions that they appeared normal? What would you say to an individual was so controlling, so willful, and so persuasive that they could convince another person to follow directions which any one else would consider unthinkable?

There are such individuals. They are called Psychopaths. Many people think that a psychopath is a serial killer or lifelong criminal. Unfortunately, this stereotype leaves out the fact that a successful psychopath is one who has been able to blend in and not be caught.

No one wants to believe that their spouse, child, lover, friend or neighbor is a psychopath. This act of denial is probably why psychopaths can be so successful and continue their manipulations of another persons life. We assume that the people we interact with are like us. They have the same values, the same type of conscious, the same moral values. A psychopath is adept at demonstrating all the actions which we would attribute to a person who is considered 'normal.'

Robert Canup has written an article on the Socially Adept Psychopath and the Plausible Lies within the system which support them.

"In the last section I pointed out that the problem of plausible lies is the most serious problem facing humanity today. I will now discuss the people who have been telling plausible lies: the Socially Adept Psychopaths or S.A.Ps (pronounced SAPS) of the world. An example of S.A.P. thought processes is in order.

Most people have heard of Ted Bundy; the serial killer who was executed in Florida several years ago. Not many people are aware of the fact that Bundy was studying to become a prosecutor, and that eventually he hoped to become a judge. Those that do know that fact see it as some strangely ironic twist - an inexplicable quirk in Bundy's bizarre makeup. It never seems to occur to most people that the perfect place for a psychopathic serial killer to hide in society is as a prosecutor or a judge; but I assure you that it occurs to the Psychopaths of the world. I would estimate that about 10% of the prosecutors and judges in the United States are in fact, S.A.Ps. The ONLY difference between them and Ted Bundy is that they were able to control outward signs of their Psychopathy until they achieved their goal of being in a position of authority. I will quote from my novel "Unsuspected" to show how a psychopath views the position of Judge.

'John had one overriding dream; to become a judge. Here was the greatest reward possible for a psychopath: to put on the royal robes of the judiciary - to become a demigod - to have others plead to Him and beg His indulgence, to have everyone rise in awe and respect when He entered the room, for His word to literally be law, to be able to create an almost endless amount of human misery, just because He could, to punish summarily anyone who, quite correctly, displayed contempt for Him, to have the power of life and death over people, to be granted the only royal title available in the United States: "Your Honor"."

To learn what a psychopath is and how they work, you can download a free copy of Hervey Cleckley's book "The Mask of Sanity" from this site, read of their own encounter with a psychopath, as well as peruse the links to other resources.
